INSTRUCTIONS FOR SOFTWARE USERS
Version Compatibility
Our Range of DVD menus categorised for Encore are currently
fully compatible with all versions Adobe-Encore.
All downloads are supplied in compressed ZIP or RAR
format and contain
Photoshop format PSD Images and menus
Installing a DVD menu in Adobe
Encore
Step 1. Download the adobe encore version menu you wish
to use.
Step 2. Extract the downloaded zip file to your preferred
location
Step 3. From Encore select Import as menu then locate
the extracted "menu.psd" file
The menu is then available for use in the Encore DVD
software
Installing a DVD Image in Adobe
Encore
Step 1. Download the PAL or NTSC version Image you wish
to use.
Step 2. Extract the downloaded image zip file to your
preferred location
Step 3. Import the extracted "image.jpg" file
into Encore.
The image is then available for use in the Encore DVD
software
Adjusting the hilite Colour and
transparency
The Hilite colours and transparency can easily be adjusted
in Encore
Within Encore select edit - colour sets- menu
then remove the automatic setting and adjust the colours
and transparency to suit
if you adjust the settings, you will obtain any required
result.
Text and Fonts
Can be easily modified to a more creative type by simply
highlighting the text within the Encore DVD Editor
and selecting an alternative text description and or
font type available to your system.
Photograph Mask Static buttons
Many of our menus contain a photograph mask which allows
you to simply drag a photograph to the button within
the DVD editor and it will be automatically masked to
a similar display format as viewable on the DVD menu
"sample" illustration.
if an image is shown on the menu preview it will be
available for you to use within the DVD editor.
Tip:
Please note due to the detailed design nature of our
menus, when creating links to thumbnail buttons within
Encore,
select the layers panel and expand the folder for the
button you are about to link, then click on the video
layer
this will ensure you can properly link to the timeline
extracting video or image as required.
Video Mask motion buttons
Many of our menus contain a video mask
which allows you to simply drag a video clip to the
button within the DVD editor
and it will be automatically masked to a motion video
button similar to the display format shown for
the photo mask viewable on the the DVD menu "sample"
illustration.
Tip:
Please note due to the detailed design nature of our
