It is very easy for you to include your images in the file,
open photoshop oldpaper.psd from the effect images folder
it is the key to easily including your own images.

The various layers are shown opposite, please note that AFX imports this image as a single flattened file, so the layer order is not essential.

STEP 4a - open any image you wish to use in photo shop
From the photoshop menu choose select -All then Edit copy merged
this will place your image in the clipboard switch to the old photo image
STEP 4b open the layers panel as shown opposite
mouse click on the PHOTO 5 HOLDER layer to make it active as shown in blue

STEP 4c CTRL+ mouse click on the image layer thumb to load the image selection as shown Ensure you click the image thumbnail as illustrated with the hand cursor over the thumbnail.
if you complete this correctly, the photo will be highlighted with the selection border.
STEP 4d Choose Edit - paste into This will paste your image into the selection
choose edit- transform - scale to adjust the size of your image to the correct visual appearance use the drag handles to resize to fit the existing window.
press enter to apply the transformation.

STEP 4e Enter your required text to each of the text layers for photo 5

REPEAT THIS PROCESS FOR EACH OF THE FIVE HOLDERS WITH YOUR IMAGES AND TEXT
SAVE THE FILE

Please retain the position of the photos as the afx buider targets their current location

STEP 5 Open oldpaper.aep into After effects and render the video to your required format
Please remember that Pal and ntsc ws video outputs are simple downscale from the hd1280 format

STEP 6 Finally assemble your created motion background with the Encore dvd menu provided and compile
again remember that Encore will auto import the HD menu provided to pal or ntsc as widescreen format simple adjustment to the readable text size may be necessary within encore.
